Shift knob Question

ok,i hope this is not a dumb question, but i been thinking,i really like the shift knobs the stock ones on the 2006 z06 vettes,i know the thread pattern is no where near the scion tc's....i was wondering is there any way i can modify it to fit a scion tc with a twm short shifter...i dont think anyone has done this

It's probably possible without too much work. I think they sell various adaptors to mate shift knobs with various pitch shifter threads (like the ones sold with this hurst shifter below).

I think you need to find out the width and thread pitch of both items before you go any further though.

^X2 .

I searched google once for adapters. I forgot what words I used, but there are various sites out there that make tons of different adapters.

I agree with the statement above to research the thread length, width of each pole, and all that good stuff to know what adapter you're going to need. Most of them screw into the shift knob, and then allows you to screw it to the shifter stick as if it was meant for that application.
