I would like some suggested settings for the set up I'm am going to install this friday. Would like suggestions on settings for the HU and the amp. Listen to many genres (ska, punk, metal, rap/hip hop) so just want a tight well balanced bass level. I know its a lot of questions but first install and dont want to ruin anything. All help will be appreciated. thank you.

HU- JVC Kw-adv793
amp- alpine mrd-m300
sub- alpine sws-1043d (Dual 4 ohm, wired at 2 ohm)
the rest of the speakers are the stock ones from a 2010 tc with the stock sub taken out.

Head Unit:
Equalizer:Flat, Natural, Dynamic, Vocal Boost, Bass Boost, Super Bass, Rhythm, Acoustic, or Relax
Sub output level:0-8
Low Pass Filter: 55Hz, 85Hz, 120Hz
Loudness: on or off

Amp:
channels:1 or 2. HU has mono sub output and amp is mono but has connection for both RCAs. use Y splitter at HU and choose 2 channel?
Gain:(0 dB/–6 dB/–12 dB/–18 dB)
Low Pass Filter:on/off 30Hz – 200Hz (1/6 oct. step)
subsonic filter:on/off 15Hz – 50Hz (5Hz step)
parametric equalizer: on/offbass compensation:on/off
Phase:on/off if on 0 degrees or 180 degrees
