Are you referring to the flaps both above the driver and the passenger inside the car, of which you pull down when the sun hits your eyes? How would anyone break that?

My Driver's side sun visor broke in the summertime. I did get a replacement through the dealer for free, but it did take 2 weeks of driving with the sun in my eyes sometimes before they got the part. I was hoping for the new 'o7(?) sun visor w/extender.
No dice. Your dealer should replace it.

They were quick about it like i went in i told then what happen they just like "ok an order has been place and you may go now," i was like wow that was like less than 2 minutes, as if they experience this alot. I asked them how often does this happen, like very now and then. i was like...ERR....

One of the pieces that hooks onto the rod in the visor broke in 2. I'm not a big guy (5' 9", 175 lbs). So I don't know how it broke. When I came out of work to leave, I got in my tC and removed my sun shade. I noticed that my Driver's side visor wouldn't stay in the 'up' position. I noticed a bulge in the visor. Through the fabric, I could feel that one of the plastic pieces was broke in half. (You could even see it through the fabric.) Took it to the dealer and the rest is history. So, yes, it does happen...even to a weakling like me.

that's exactly what happen to mine....i think they make it too stiff...and if try to move the visor too fast (especially after you park the car outside from the sun) it will break

Not to drag an old thread out again, but this happened to my tC as well. It's out of warranty (70K) and it broke from normal use. Just a friendly FYI. Time to rip apart the sun visor.
