Which one should I get... the ball leather shift **** or the trd regular shift *****. I know I want leather because I don't want to deal with hot or cold issues with a metal ****.

Do any of you have either ****? I'm totally clueless about which one I should pick. Or are there other leather ***** that someone recommends???

 

easy answer: how do you shift? do you grip it or are you overhand?

 

I'm still learning right now... I have a tendency to grip it right now... but I do overhand it sometimes... does the ball make it impossible to overhand? I'm a noob at manual so sorry if I sound dumb.

 

stay with what you have until you figure out what you are more comfortable with....if you find yourself just overhanding (grabbing the top) of the shifter, then get a ball style. if you grip it more...get a new standard style shifter

 

Thanks for the advice man... appreciate it... I'm gonna watch how I hold the stick over the next few days... I think I overhand it most of the time actually thinking about it.

Do you have a TRD leather ****? I was also trying to see if anyone had either of the leather TRD *****... especially the ball one to see if they liked it or not.
