Hello Scionlife. I bought my 2006 Black Chery Pearl Scion tC back in October of 2005. Ever since then its pretty much been stock. I did my first modification in 2006 when I installed a Hotchkis strut tower bar. A few years later I installed a Stoptech stage 2 brake it, Greddy Carbon/Kevlar air diversion panel, had the windows tinted, and painted the front calipers red. I still need to paint the rear calipers. Recently I have decided to invest a bit more on the car and am now working on installing my recent purchase, an authentic RS3.0 Kenstyle Lip Kit.

April 2011:

My current project, an authentic RS3.0 Kenstyle Lip Kit that I had resprayed in Black Cherry Pearl. What color weatherstrip should I get, black or gray?

Update: 05/03/11 - Black Weatherstrip is on its way. I also ordered some 3M DiNoc carbon fiber wrap to cover up a few things. Can't wait to install this lip.

7/12/2011: Purchased Eibach Pro-kit and KYB Excel-G shocks. Its a mild drop, but its enough for my taste. Had them on for a little over a week now.

I vote coilovers FTW, if you get the H-techs put on you'll likely be thinking back and wish you had gone for coilovers.

I might be getting Raceland coilovers to start things off considering they are about half the price of the Tein Htech-Tokico shock combo. I showed my girlfrind the Raceland's yesterday and she's considering getting them for my birthday in June (it'd be so cool if she does). What color weatherstrip should I get, black or gray?

I can't wait to put it on. I just need to order new weather stripping and new 3m tape.

I got lucky with mines, my buddy that bought full price from dealer sold it to me for half price because he never got around to getting it painted.

A little update. Unfortunately the lipkit is not on yet. I ordered some black weather strip and its still on its way. Until then I can't intstall it yet. Hopefully by the end of the week.

The H techs are a good choice, not too low, not too high. I got mine used for like $160~. This thread needs more pics!!

I will get more pics in time. I will post as soon as I get the lip kit installed.
