2005 scion tc TRD supercharger higher octane fuel?
just bought a 2005 scion tc with the TRD supercharger upgarde the book calls for a higher octane fuel there seems to many mixed opinions on if it is really need was wondering if i could get a straight answer?
Regular is for base models. Anything turbo/super charged has to be premium to keep from tearing the engine up. Has to do with higher octane fuel not igniting in the chamber prematurely

hahahaha, yeeeeaaaah
...yes, im kidding /sarcasm.
there is no knocking or anything.
but seriously...after this tank, i put 93 in it, switching like that with a quarter of a tank of 86? anything bad?
or should i drain the tank and not mix the 86 and 93?

The ecu in combination with the knock sensor should tweak the timing/fuel in case there is any ping/knock, but it can only do so much.
Not to mention you break any warranty when you use the wrong fuel in the car >.<
Just don't go all WOT crazy, until you get premium in there, lol.

Dont drain the tank - however I would run as much of it out before filling up with premium.
