The 2010 Scion tC may be redesigned, gaining freshened styling and possibly a new name. The tC is a 2-door hatchback coupe sold by Toyota's youth-oriented division. It should have a 160-hp 2.4-liter or a 179-hp 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. A 5-speed manual transmission or optional 4-speed automatic should be offered. Available safety features should include ABS, a driver knee airbag, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Traction control and an antiskid system may be offered for the first time. The front-passenger seatback should recline to form a long surface in tandem with a split-folding rear seat. The tC will likely continue to be offered in a single trim level that comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and a sunroof. Options should include a navigation system, sport exhaust system, and 18-inch wheels. Many dealer-installed dress-up accessories will likely also be available.
