Default Anyone with lifetime alignment and nitro fill?

I just got an alignment and opted for the lifetime deal. It also comes with lifetime nitrogen filled tires. My question is twofold. How much have you guys paid for a lifetime alignment. And is anyone else on here running on nitrogen filled tires?

you're talkin' about the dealership, right?

when you buy tires from certain Scion dealerships, they automatically include lifetime balancing, rotation, & 4 whl alignment in their road hazard protection plan.
Usually, that plan runs around $10-$15 a tire.

don't need nitrogen in your tires unless you racing in the daytona 500, or landing a jumbo jet full of passengers.

regular daily driven cars won't see any noticible difference because tires don't see anywhere near that extreme level of abuse.

i think when they say "lifetime" they mean life of the tires... ive seen that somewhere. what a gimmick.

Ok... I dont mean from the dealer. And the nitrogen is lifetime for the life of the car, along with the alignment. It didnt cost anymore. You just hear about the virtues of nitrogen lasting longer and such. I was just curious if anyone had any input. And I did attend usf at one point in time. GO BULLS

I'll be honest, I thought lifetime alignments were all but gone. I could use one myself. As for the Nitrogen filled tires. It WILL be better than standard compressed air. Nitrogen is not just for the purpose of landing airplanes, or driving over 200 mph. The Nitrogen molecules are larger than many of the random gases in air. This will help to keep the tires from bleeding down over time. The reason Nitrogen is used in racing is that it doesn't expand nearly as much, at the temps that are seen, as air would.

yeah, that is all true, but compressed air is pretty free after you have the compressor. and the air is already 70% nitrogen anyway.

and as far as bleed outs, i've never had a problem with any of my tires getting low on air...cept that one time i jumped my explorer and blew a tire out, but those things had 80,000 miles on them anyway.

Well I can get the alignment free every six months or so. I figure that is well worth it and if you want to fill my tires with nitrogen anyway, why not. It cant be harmful right.

I put 30k miles on my last set of tires and only put an air hose to them twice each just to adjust for the winter time and snow that's it.

okay. at firestone if we sell you a lifetime alignment. its jsut that.. for as long as you own the vehicle, you get a free alignment. end of story. if you get your oil changed elsewhere, get new tires elsewhere.. w.e. bring it back to firestone and get a free alignment. as for nitrogen. it just last longer and apparently you dont lose as much a month as you do with air. tires loose about 1 lb of air a month. so apparently with nitrogen it looses less then 1 lb of air. so dono. at firestone we just use air. but i would deffinantly recommend a lifetime allignment to anyone. i cant buy one because im a technition and long story blah blah blah fraud blah blah blah.

I think that for the 160 I paid for the lifetime alignment its a steal. All you need to do is get it done more than once and it pays for itself. Seems like a good deal to me

Yea the lifetime alignment is a great deal if you take advantage of it, I paid about 170 for the deal at evans tire and I think all the other places nearby are within 10 bucks of that.

Edit: Also about the whole nitrogen thing, its proven to be better even if just by a small amount. You are still getting it for free so why not use it?
