Default Anyone store their Tc ?

I was just curious if anyone stores their car away for the winter? If you live where it snows that is. If so dont you hate making payments on a car you dont even drive? I wish I did just so I dont rack up the miles so fast and so the car doesnt rust so fast but I just cant do it...

There is no way I could go without driving my tC for several months. It is too nice of a car to go into hibernation. It gets a garage at night, but driven year round.

I dont think your being **** about it, Do what ever you want to preserve the look of your car. If I could I would put barricades around my tC where ever it is and zap anyone who comes within 15 feet and bubble wrap it when im on the roads..ya know from debri and dumb a*s drivers

I store my cae in the winter but if the roads are clear i usually drive it least once a week. But the pot holes and road salt in detroit suck so i usually drive my silverado back and forth to work and what not. plus it saves miles on my tc. the downside is the tc is way better on gas.

Just make sure there's a nice layer of good quality wax on it before winter hits ( I only use S100 Carnauba Wax) and wash off any thick roadsalt you accumulate.

Yeah I drop my Tc off next thursday at the detail shop where tey will clay bar it then use a three stage wax and polish process. a friend of mine also told me at ziebart they have this process called diamond coating thats supposed to harden the enamel and protect the car all year round with no waxing but its like $300.00

the car is gunna look as good as it does now in 10 years. so no its not hard making payments while its parked. not as hard as seeing the damage a buffalo winter will do to a car.

True... I cant stand not driving it so I dont think I could put it away for the winter. I do make sure that I wash it when I can just to get try to keep the salt off from it as much as possible. This buffalo winter was not that bad at all so maybe next year I might consider it !

I Live in New England. I put up my tC for the winter and bought a '95 Jeep Cherokee Sport for $1900 bucks. Saves Mileage on the tC, and i dont have to worry about pitting wheels, scratching ice...etc. Just is nicer. Plus i have a yellow lab and i hate bringing him in the tC...Gets hair every where.

This was a mild winter...so I was able to take it out and drive it on several occations trought the winter, just to get everything moving. If the weather would not allow I would just go start it and let it run for about half an hour.

Springs almost here and then ill be able to take it out and keep it out.

I store mine i live in upstate Ny and our roads suck in the winter not that the car couldnt handle the snow but seeing it in the salt/sand would give me an upset stomach, thats what trucks are made for lol,

Awaiting a Zpi Stage 0 and Full exhaust, pics to come...
