the only thing that bothers me is that the passenger seat does not have a memory setting, so everytime someone is let into the back seat, the front passenger seat needs to be re-arrenged, dont worry the drivers side has one. I wish they both did

160 horses and a buttery smooth 5 speed twm short shifter tends to get me in trouble sometimes...
i love my tC, the hatch started rattling after about 200 miles but i took it to the dealer and its gone now. couldnt be happier

Loves:
MP3-CD player (can't argue with 10 discs on one CD)
one touch power everything
All the nifty little compartments for stuff
the 5 speed MT
gas mileage (23 mpg on the first tank!)
my Flint Mica paint
panoramic moonroof
rear seat leg room (actually went back there when it was on the showroom floor)
the two power outlets being up front (one has the lighter, the second is inside the armrest)
sticker price
Hates/misses:
I had to buy floor mats separate
the cruise control being a lever and not steering wheel mounted buttons
the fact that my horn doesn't sound when I lock the car, just the lights flashing
no rear hatch remote open
center armrest just out of reach for comfortable 1st, 3rd, and 5th gear cruising
rear seat headroom (but really, how often will I be back there?)
the little light in the front console pocket at night
no light in the glove box
DIsappointed that:
its too cold for the moonroof to stay open
I can't wash her because its going to rain/ice/snow in 3 days.

i love the car. i like:
mp3 cd player
plenty of power
sunroofs
everything is standard
classy sharp interior
awesome cargo room
rear seats recline and fold forward
nothchiness of the shifter
climate control setup is so cool
tire pressure gauge thing
soft, well made interior (check out the fabric around the door seals)
the rims are tight
it's really quiet
great price for everything you get
don't like:
1st gear is really short and it needs a 6th gear
power sunroof has a mind of it's own when you open and close it
i don't like making my payments...but thats my fault.

...on week three of owning my tC.... still in love!!
Love:
the look for its class/price range
the power/torque for an I4 (I usually drive V8's)
the sunroof
the price
the power/torq...sorry, already mentioned that
the stock gear ratio - great for an import... quick 1-2 shift like the 4.10's on my 5.0 Mustang
the stock/standard EVERYTHING, sounds, rims, power up/down windows
smooth shifter / quick grab clutch
new car, hardly any on the road so EVERYONE wants to look at yours
Dislike:
That stupid DING DING DINGDINGDING when you don't have your seatbelt on
(that appearantly you can not turn off, either)
the silent door locks
the front wheel drive
Overall...great great great lil' car so far... couldn't be happier

love:
how it feels to drive it - very heavy and stable
perfect interior space - aftermarket system sounds awesome
moonroof
cover for stereo area
climate control area
dislike:
no passenger side seat memory
no adjustable height seat belts
having to push on the key fob several times to get the trunk to unlock
lack of sixth gear

Actually the passsenger seat isnt that bad.. it can slide back and forth easily as long as u have a little pressure aplied to the top part of the seat.. If you dont and just push back and forth it will stop very fast and wont let a big person fit.. try it.

I hate the MP3 cd player. I guess I can't complain a whole lot because it's stock. I wouldn't get a six disc option or anything like that. if I do anything it will be buying an aftermarket one. The player needs a remote, and the random feature needs to work better. For example if I skip a song, i can't just press next to go the next random song, i have to turn off and turn random back on. This causes some songs to play more then others and overall the random feature on this is very annoying. Plus if I want to play song number 82... and I just put the CD in.. i have to do all kinds of manuevers to get there faster. That's why I want a remote. Not because I'm lazy.
I also do not like the steering wheel, while I don't expect audio controls on it I do think the horn is a little big. I miss my integra wheel with its tiny little horn buttons. I don't like the big horn button.
I think that's about all i don't like about the car. Then again, I only have about 1300 miles on it.

I actually like the fact that no how ____ed of i am i don't have to find the horn. My last 2 cars had the little horn buttons i could never find them when i was ____ed. Perfect now i just mash anywhere on the wheel. Has come in handy several times most recently an impatient woody PT Cruiser.
2 things i dislike is that there isn't constant power to either of the powerpoints and the gas closers don't hold the roof up all the way so on 2 seperate i had a pretty rough encounter with the rear hatch. Although it is funny watching my friends do it. And yes i am aware that this is really do to the cold weather rather then poor design

wow.... some of the things you guys don't like are so ridiculously small. I mean currently I have a bone stock 1995 Honda Civic DX, with power NOTHING!! No sunroof, no power locks and no remote, no power windows, no power seats, no steering wheel controls or cruise control, and especially no center console.
Now the tC has ALL of these features plus TONS more! If you're like me, the tC is like a Cadillac compared to my car!

The beep can be gotten rid of using a little trick ;)
Really, two things I dont like are the short 1st gear (which someone already mentioned) and the Electronic Throttle Body... it lags by a split second, and annoys me... but it helps maintain the tC's great gas mileage (if you care about that sorta thing)

the stuff i love people already said so i won't go into it. the short 1st gear is probably everyone's complaint, but i'm sure we'll be able to deal with it. other than that my only other complaint would be the trunk design. when it rains, and i open the trunk up, all the water on the rear windsheild will slide down into the trunk getting all my stuff wet. i know that in most cars the water would slide into the gutter. but on the tC, the water tends to miss.
i'm sure you had at LEAST power steering right?

I never had water fall in... I use rain-x on the rear windshield, and when the car's wet, I just open the rear lift very slowly... whatever water is left over (since it slides right off with rain-x) ...just goes into the gutter

Can you use rain x on all the windows? like sides and windshield? I went to kragens to buy it AND I COULDNT FIND IT! boy was i ____ed HA!
Yes water does drop into the trunk..i say OH WELL ITS WATER IT'LL DRY!
