Default Bazooka Sub Questions

I just installed this in my 08 tC. I have the Scion Navigation System made by alpine. I plugged everything up, everything is powered. It works.

The only problem is that it rattles at some notes when it hits it. I took the driver out and let it play some music and the rattling is gone, but there isn't kick. But when I put the driver back, it starts to rattle. I'm thinking it's something going on inside the box... Unless it's a really crappy sub and it kinda distorts and rattles when you blast it. Because I blast some rap music and it seems to distort it sometimes.

But all in all, whats the best setting for this sub? Like gain wise, and then navigation head unit settings wise? Any recommendations on getting the rattling to stop? Also, if I wanted to get a new driver, what else would I need to buy?

I had the same problem. I was trying to figure out where it was coming from so I started banging the trunk to see where it was coming from. I hit the sub enclosure and hear something rattle. I took the drive out and found a big chuck of the box's molding just chilling in there. I didn't see it in there at first because it blended in. Took it out and the rattle is gone. I'm not sure if it's the same problem that you are having.
