can't get much brighter than stock man.. sorry.

leds though possibly brighter... won't reflect in the housing well... which causes nothing more than bright puny spots

halogen bulbs will work best... and yea.. the stock one is so far the brightest overall.. i've seen.

i got limo tint on my rear windows too... something you just gotta suck up and get used to.

yeah just stick with the regular bulbs cause LEDs won't reflect too much and well those blue/hyper white bulbs is just asking for a ticket cause of the blue tint.

i have hyperwhite bulbs in mine and i think they are brighter, they look cooler, and they are tinted blue.
i dont have problems seeing out my back window and its tinted limo
and ive never gotten any legal issues cause of the bulb being tinted blue, why would they give you a ticket for that, it doesnt light up blue at all and only turns on when your in reverse, seriously thats rediculous to me.

i open my door and lean out and look backwards when im backin up at night. haha i cant see crap thru my back window. the pedestal spoiler kinda blocks the view and the dark tint doesnt help matters any. plus, ive hit stuff in my old truck a couple times backin up so now im extra careful.

i love my reverse cam. really helpful too since i got 5% tints in the back too. and the reverse lights help light the area for the cam.

Reversing in the tC is harder than other cars I have driven. I used to reverse-park my Echo just by looking in the rearview mirror. Visibility isn't so good in the tC, so I have developed the habit of opening the door and leaning out when reversing. This works great for parallel parking and reverse parking, especially at night.
