Default Built not bought pwee08 build thread.

well lets start....

October 2007 Since i couldn't afford a tc from the dealer or used, I went another directions since i had some connections that buy crash cars and sell them repaired (rebuilt cars) so they basically hooked me up. This is how she looked upon arrival to the shop...
I dont want none of this poop in my thread saying how dumb i was to buy a rebuilt title but to be honest the car was done professionally and it does not pull left nor right or it does not shake for no reason and its 4 years old.

PEEEEKKTURES!!!

I wanted to get a 5 speed but my mum wasn't feeling it so i just opt in getting a auto since i would be driving back and fourth from orlando to miami a lot for the next two years.( College )

After a month of waiting the car was pretty much done. It even still had the new car smell lol

Then after a few months later i got some tints and painted my stock rims and paint my brake calipers which most people do.

From there i starting to get into more of a show scene and i started to mod here there.

Drop the car on TRD Springs

wanted more thump for my music

Then picked up a good deal on a used ZPI Cat Back magna flow exhaust system. The sound is just awesome in my opinion.

a year later i pick up rims( Kyrowa Racing series 206 black) , CF Gas door, Premium Head Unit, eye lids, TYC Tail's, and hitler stash.

Got tired of not having a trunk so i got rid of the sound system. Also because i got introduce to boost and WOW so kinda had this idea of selling the tc or doing a 5 speed swap but never ended up happening since i was still in college and broke like a joke...

About year and half later some idiot back up into me.. (sorry no photos) In Short the guy was in the middle of road avoided a accident and saw the light was red and thought it would be a smart idea to throw it into reverse and back up at about as fast he could. I needed a new Driver side Fender, Headlight and a new bumper. Yes thats when the hitler stash went away think God even said it was a horrible thing and made the accident happen to get rid of it lol..

After that i really wanted to sell the car to get a 5 speed so i threw it back to stock. Also took off the factory spoiler.

Got tired of people coming to see the car and test drive it to say its amazing blah blah but never would buy it. So i just choose to not sell it and just do a 5 speed swap. I basically almost had all the parts just needed a few things to finish parting for a 5 speed swap and weezybayba was going to do the swap.

BUT

one morning i woke up and i check craiglist on my cell phone best app. ever! W.e i found a amazing listing/price for a 5 speed and i basically jump out of bed and started driving to the location it was of those deals you don't think you just go buy it because its so cheap you want to punch a baby in the face cheap!!! After i picked this up i put up all my 5 speed swap stuff for sale. The frame was not bent no where, Reason why i picked it up ASAP i was the second caller for the posting. in 5 minutes of her posting it lol

Behold the new project.....

The hoes are still there just covered with black electrical tape. Haven't gotten around to it since two weekends ago a drunk guy on a scooter ran into my auto while I was almost out my drive way. So now need to fix bumper and holes. The way ill be fixing the hole will most likely Tig welding the holes closed then standing down some Bondo to cover up the welds and she's good as new

late update slash another story

1/22/11 has been a really really bad day plus a good day -_-

I was backing out to head to a junk yard( The day i went shopping for car parts). i was cutting to the right but realize i was going the wrong way. So i put the car in drive and started to pulled back into my drive way and next thing you know i just hear a loud tud. Im like what the heck just happen i thought i hit the trash can or something when i stuck my head out i see a guy on the floor in a scooter with blood all over the street i panic step out the car and left my car in drive took me like 3 seconds to realize that then put into park and called 911. The guy that lives in front of me saw the whole thing, said that the scooter was hauling butt around 35 40. When he hit the guy flew in the air. Im ok and the car as well but the guy and scooter was a totally gone. Everyone says he was drunk because it was 10am and he was going to eat a chicken noodle soup to sooth his stomach from his hang over or some poop like that what everyone was saying. Another reason why i say that is because the officer notified me that he refused twice to get the alcohol test so he might be.
