Not really, they are a legit company. I don't know about their quality but the hoods look decent. I chose to go with a Bbist hood though, one of the nicest hoods out there.

what provokes a person to slam a company or person on a public board with absolutely no comment on why they are doing so?

who knows? but i did notice it said nothing about being 0ne-sided or two, and from the info it seeems to be one sided, so that hood would not be the best for shows.

What's so fishy about $450 shipped :?: :?: That seems to be the going rate. Even though I've seen them as low as $375 shipped.

Maybe I missed something but I didn't see anyone or company getting slammed on a public board. I saw someone post a link and asked if it looked fishy. He is just trying to cover his butt so he doesn't end up witha piece of crap and minus $400. Nothing wrong with that.

Hold up, I am not an expert at auctions or anything, but how can something have a "no reserve", and a minimum bid of $299?

Doesn't "no reserve" mean that the starting bid is like a dollar or something?

Okay, so you can start your opening bid at whatever you want. Great.

Then what is "no reserve" supposed to mean?

(don't want to sidetrack the topic, but isn't it a little (gasp) dishonest to say "no reserve" and then just set the starting price at the least you are willing to take)

Yeah it is but you pay more for setting up a reserve price. This company is just cutting corners to save money I guess :? You answered your own question about the reserve price

What's "fishy as heck"? The seller? The price? The product itself? The pictures?

It's ridiculous and immature to post a thread like this without posting anything about WHY the poster thinks it's "fishy as heck".

Not at all dishonest. It's an extremely common practice.

A "reserve" means that there's a minimum price, but the seller's not going to tell you ahead of time what it is. I hate those.

It's not dishonest to set a reserve, since everyone knows what's going on. It's also fine to ask opinions about an auction before you bid.

you can barely tell its a CF hood on that BSP car, which is the same color mine is. now if they could come up with a blue color CF hood or dark red CF hood, that'd be the shizznae
