Default Door Seal Replacement

Hi everyone! Newbie here. So I've noticed the seal around my driver side door has been falling apart. The attached PDF will show what I'm talking about. Right now it's being held together with gorilla glue and I want to replace it. Does anyone know the part number and how to remove the existing piece?

I think someone else had this problem recently, and found that this wasn't a saleable part and comes preinstalled with the entire window assembly. If it just debonded and didn't actually tear, you may be able to rebond it with a polyurethane product like 3M window weld. You'd have to clean off all the old glue though.

Thanks for the response! Might go with the window weld, but also considering replacing the whole assembly. How difficult is it to remove and install?

Hello cheapsocks! Welcome to SL!

It would be Most Helpful if you were to put a Vehicle in your Garage or state your Exact Year/Model so we can provide a Part No. for you.

The "Seal" in not a Separate Item.

It is part of the Quarter Glass Assembly. Verify with your local dealer P/N 62720-21220

IMHO, your Best Bet is to as another suggested use Silicone Adhesive Sealant.
Unless you want to replace the entire Quarter Glass Assembly.

Myself, I would use a Dealer or Shop if I had to Remove and Install it. Check around because the Labor Rates would vary.

Yeah I'll just go for the silicone. Replacing it will probably be too much trouble for such a small thing. Thanks for the help!

Not to thread jack but I have a similar problem except it's the door. I hope attaching it to this thread will help others since they are likely to stumble here via search too

^^^I think this one is available separately since it attaches to the door. In fact, I think I saw someone post up a YouTube video of replacing it when I was trying to help the OP.

It's called BELT MOLDING, LEFT.

Verify with the Dealer:
P/N 75712-21030
