i did a search but cant find the diamiter of the exhaust pipe can some one post what it is if its not to much trouble i would go out side and check but its snowing

It wouldnt matter what size the muffler is, as long as its not 3in.
The exhaust shop will fix that part by useing the right pipe size.

I think our stock exhaust size is 2.25, some of it looks like 2.5in though???

yeah its deffinately 2.25... i replaced my exhaust within the first week of owning my tC, 3-4 months ago with a 2.5inch cat back straight pipe... very very good investment
