First MPG check

Just got my auto trans tc last Tuesday. Got gas today (Sunday) and checked my mileage. 27.7 That's with a new, unbroken in motor and driving into Baltimore city three days last week. I'm pleased. I expected a little worse. Should be even better when it's broken in.

Yeah, you will probally see some kind of improvement around 5000 miles or so.

I kept track of my mileage alot but after a while i just sorta got lazy and stopped. :P But really, as long as your driving habits dont change, neither will the numbers, and i really didnt notice too much of a different after having the car broken-in, hmm.. but maybe i just havent been too observant.

Typically I get 33-36 depending on how I drive the 38 miles each way to work.

Damn, the highest i have seen was like 24mpg, i usually see around 20mpg and my engine has about 2800 miles on it. im hoping for an improvement soon lol...but then again you could say that im a "spirited" driver hahah.

im a well spirited driver... have 19" rims ... and a solid 200lbs of stereo, i get around 22mpg... its still MUCH better then my suburban @ 9mpg! im very happy :)

edit: oh and i only have 1600 miles on mine so far.

Just remember not to go solely off of one tank. Your numbers can vary wildly from tank to tank. Keep averaging over time to see what you really end up with. I average about 24 overall, 30 on road trips. Enjoy the new car!

I think I drive pretty conservatively, and I still only get about 24-25 mpg... but that's almost all city stop-and-go. I'm sure it'd be much better with more highway driving.
