Looks like it, see the gap?
pull it and check continuity with a volt meter to know for certain. |
Yes, that fuse looks defiantly blown.

The whole white plastic body should come out with the metal still in it, just rock it from side to side a bit.

for the 120a alt fuse u have to take the tan part out of the fuse box go under it and there is 2 screws both phillips 1 8mm and 1 10mm. u unscrew those and the fuse comes free...the screwws are hooked up to a white on one side and black on the other that are probably a 6awg wire

Replacing 120a fuse
Hi all,
I have a similar problem. I am trying to replace the 120a fuse in my 2006 Scion TC. I have taken off the black plastic top and side of the fuse box to expose the beige plastic part (fuse grid?) that holds all the fuses. The 120a fuse (see image 1, red box) is bolted into the beige plastic box on two sides (see images 2 and 3). I have removed one bolt (see image 2) but the second is hidden behind a plastic part and a white wire (see image 4). How can I remove the second, hidden bolt? Images are here: http://tcnewbie001.blogspot.com/2013/12/blog-post.html Thank you in advance! |
