My camping is done in the truck. Lots more space for whatever needs to happen back there.

 

Get a mat for the back of the tc. It's plenty of space, but it'll get uncomfortable because of the surface difference.

Big thick foam mat, you should be fine.

I think it's considered camping, and why not?
Before someone flames me, I used to backpack the Sierras with my family, every year, for nine years. Most nights, we'd set up camp without seeing another person for days.

I couldn't just run back out and do it again now, maybe sleeping in the tC is the first step toward backpacking like John Muir. :-D

My tC has been "broken in" if you catch my drift

 

i have a twin sized air mattress that fits perfectly if you take off the front seat headrests, push the front seats all the way forward and all the way reclined, and fold the back seats down.

 

mine hasnt yet :-(

 

same here.. i have yet to de-flower my tC.. a car that special deserves a special lady.

 

I've done it - actually, there were three people in my car. we drove to see a show and didn't know anyone in town and didn't feel like paying for a room so we just slept in the car. anyways, it was managable. I wouldn't want to do it for more than a night though, and with 2 people it would be more comfortable.

i took a nap with the seat folded down after a long day of stereo installation and cleaning. it was pretty nice. and i got to look through the back glass panel, which i never get to fully appreciate because i'm always in the driver's seat

 

i sleep in my TC all the time on my lunch breaks at work. i just leave in the windows down for a breeze. i have a sleeping bag in the back 24/7 just in case cuz its so convenient to sleep in.

yea... so a couple weeks after i got my '06, i was at a house party... and instead of sleeping in one of the 5 guest beds that were available that my friend pleaded me to crash in, i felt like i needed to 'bond' with my tC and slept in my car with the front seat all the way back. woke up at 9am with the sun in my eyes and a bangin hang over... holla haha. no aches from it though!
