help! need to know scion tc's 0-70 in how many feet.

I need to know how many feet it takes for a stock 2007 scion tc to go from 0-70 full acceleration.

can anyone help with the math involved in that?

I believe Engifineer can help or Trung, one of the LED mods. They are usually the ones who answer this question. Hope they read this. Take care. :)

why?

about 9 seconds reading the graph on that page.

LOL

Why 0-70 and not 0-60. Cars are always measured in 0-60 and 1/4 mile for the most part. And remember depending on conditions your 0-70 in amount of feet will always be different. If you want numbers and results go to a track... Dont base your results off what you do on the street one day or what another website says. Most of the time there wrong. LOL

i'm pretty sure motortrend did a diligent job of accurately measuring their acceleration times.

now, in truth, that time is made by running the car as hard as possible dropping the clutch from a high rpm and smoking the tires and such for the lowest 0-60 and 1/4 mile time. that is why car and driver does the 5-60 mph "street start" acceleration statistic. which is how fast the car would accelerate without dumping the clutch and such. a spirited acceleration, and not a full blown, all out racing launch.

what is this for? does it have to be accurate

Dakine 01-08-2008 04:35 AM

^ go try it!

tC2_thumper 01-08-2008 05:34 AM

yah now im curious as to why you want to know this? very random!

SquallLHeart 01-08-2008 05:44 AM

uhhh... alot?

i don't think a question like that has ever been asked... much less been answered.

why do you need to know? cause most of the time that people have asked about that would be a 0-88...

:P

to get an accurate reading, you would first need to calibrate the flux-capacitor to 1.21 jigawatts. Until you have accomplished this, you will be unable to find out.
