i did this over the winter time. i cracked my axle and lower control arm in half and bent my rim really badly. i wans able to fix it myself for less then 400 dollars with part from the junk yard and a rim on this site doing all the work in my driveway.

driving in that city in good weather is bad enough, glad you're back on the road

lol if you're still gonna come back to this thread so many months later i actually had basically the same accident except my front end was messed up much worse. the rear left got slightly tapped and after that i had this annoying noise when braking coming from my rear left. it turns out that it was a bad wheel bearing.
You know funny enough, I actually did. I replaced the rotor months ago... actually I've been through two of them... and I'm still hearing oscillating sounds every once in a while when there's no other noise in the cabin. I'll check that out... thanks

Oh, sorry, I forgot to update. It was the bearing and a warped rotor. Also, that corner's caliper failed prematurely about two and a half years later. Don't drive into things, kids.

Also, no body damage.

@hypor: both. imho, if the bent fender is interfering with the operation of the car, body shop first. otherwise, mechanic first.
