I've never had to replace a key before and was wondering how I can go about doing this?

To replace the key, you will need to contact the local Scion dealer in your area. We recommend contacting several because prices can vary. ^AP

Thanks for the help!

Is this the only way? Is it possible to purchase a case because the buttons still work, it's just the pad that is torn up

except that that key won't actually start your car. You'll have to transfer the chip from your old one.

There are videos out that will show him how to replace the chip into a new fob, no problem. It's actually one big piece of plastic inside a plastic case. Unfortunately had to take mine apart thinking the battery died.. Not the case.. Back to my thread to see if I can figure out wth is wrong with my scion now..
