I need help figuring out what's wrong with my car!!
Hello, I own a Scion Tc 2010. Recently my brother helped me change the oil of the car. However, after the oil change my car started making funny noise when I step on the brake paddle. When it comes to stop lights, it would make little bumpy noises before it comes to a fully stop. When it does come to a full stop, it would start shaking more than it did before. My brother told me he resetted my car after changing the oil. I was wondering if that could have triggered the problem?

So what you're ultimately trying to figure out is what could be causing the vibrations at idle?
Mjdavis1994 yes that's what I'm looking for.
Bbsciontc I have no idea why he resetted my car. I'm not really sure how he did it but he did told me that he reset it. Thanks for helping a very confused girl out

As bbsciontc said if he truly reset your computer (why he would for an oil change I'm not entirely sure) but the computer has to relearn idle. Usually you want to let the vehicle sit for 10 minutes or so while the vehicle relearns it before driving and the vibrations will usually go away.

From what you're describing, it sounds like a brake issue. That would have nothing to do with the oil change but is the more likely source. Does the steering wheel shake or vibrate when this happens? If it does, it's probably the front. If not, then it may be the rear. My dad's honda is doing this as well. Probably gonna change out the rear brakes for him at some point.
