i have noticed that with my after market parts when i firts start my car from a cold start it jumps right to 1500 rpms does anybody know what the problem is and has any body have the same problem?

 

Um... that's normal... your engine is trying to bring itself to a normal operating temperature. Most cars do that now. Next time you go to start it cold, leave it for a couple minutes and it will go back down to normal idle RPM.

 

isnt it called the automatic chocke? my 87 z28 even had that, i could adjust it with a lil screw under the carb.
