Default Which insurance company is cheapest for Scion tC?

So i just purchased my Scion tC 2007/Flint Mica/ Manual/ on September 06. I have Progessive as my insurance company ever since. I'm seriously paying over $3,900 a year ROFL: for Full coverage 2 way insurance! Each month i would pay $335 dollars towards Progressive. When i asked why it was so high towards a representative, she said was because Scion's are a new company and no one knows how good Scion's are on the streets and that is why its so pricey. Truthfully I think its Bull! I figured from a source that this was really expensive! So PLEASE! Does any one have or known a company out there that has Full coverage 2 way insurance for CHEAP! And for Scion tC's?

1. What would help is the name of your insurance company?

2. And the Price Paying per month?

Thanks

I almost pay that much on my xB with USAA...BUT I have a reckless ticket to my name...and I'm only 19. Hooray for doing stupid **** when you're young and regretting it for the next 7 years.

Yea I totally feel your pain.

I used to drive a Jetta and my premium for full coverage was somewhere in the $1700/6 month range. Then I bought an 05 tC and my rate actually went down some, like 70 dollars - probably because it wasn't a turbo like my Jetta, then I bought an 07 tC and my rate went up to like $1800 for 6 months.

I hate my life :/

Oh but I forgot, insurance also costs more depending upon where you live. Check stats for rates around where you live.

I live in the DC metro area which is the most expensive area for car insurance so that has alot to do with it also. NJ, NY, MA also charge alot for auto insurance.

Insurance bites the big one unless you live in the middle of nowhere where no other cars are and you're 1000 miles from civilization.

...320 monthly with Nationwide, I still don't understand how my insurance company is finding these tickets I got when they are not supposed to be on my record. (tickets only over 14 mph, in GA gets you no pts and supposedly nothing on the record) Somehow they keep saying I’m getting tickets.

yep. it depends on a few things. where you live or what kind of neighborhood, your age, type of car, how long you've been driving, any accidents or tickets, i dont know what else. but i bought my 07 tC last month and i have urithrin insurance. i'm sure noone heard of it yet. i pay $158/month with $500 deductable (since its required by my credit union) and i addressed my insurance to my cousin who lives way out there.

No one seems to be comparing anything besides the deductible... there are plenty of other factors that will influence how much you pay- insurance limits, comprehensive coverage, loaner coverage, etc etc...
Saying "I pay $x for a $y deductible" hardly gives you enough information to compare 2 policies/companies.

I have Prgressive and pay $99 a month for comprehensive coverage with a $250 deductable. It is lower than I paid on my 95 Passat VR6. My coverage is the lowest allowed by the state and my bank.

Im with Unitrin Direct.

Car (07 TC) 160/mnth, 100 deductibles (collision & comprehensive), 50,000/25,000/25,000 coverage limites, 30/day rental coverage up to 30 days per year. 2,000 medical coverage, free towing up to 40 mile radius of home address.

Bike (05 gsxr 750) 105/mnth, 15,000/10,000/10,000 coverage limits, 200 deductibles (collision & comprehensive), tow reimbursement up to 105.00 (no limit on # of times / year, 30 day rental reimbursement per day, 2,000 medical coverage.

Keep in mind, it does not matter how long a car has been out for insurance companies to know if it's a good car or not, thats why manufacturers do tests and the government does also before they are produced and sold. Secondly, insurance is based upon largely by previous driving record, but more importantly personal credit score.

I have 21st century and pay 100 per month. It also depends on your deductible and coverage, and your driving record and the area you live in... I hope someone else already stated all that information... I didn't read... too lazy
