i don't have a picture either, but the best place you can go to get them would be your local scion dealer. grab a brochure with the cd. enjoy

You know, the ones on the scion webpage (the ones it shows you during the build your own tC thing) look exactly like they do in real life.

Work at a dealership selling these cars. The key that I got with my tC was the same as my customer's that got the alarm on theirs. The only difference is in the signal it gives off and what picks it up.

Click that word "search" at the top of the page. This question has been asked and answered.

I know, the search here isn't the best, I've missed things too. (Really, the standard should be like Google, where you can intuitively search with quotes, + and - signs from a single line. I don't blame the admins though, they have to use what's given them.)

But this topic seems to come up every couple of weeks, so one of the threads should be findable. Glad you got your answer, though!

I searched for "key" in only the tC forums:

Out of 145 results, this was #23 on the first page:

"How Does The Key Look Like"

One thing I realized just recently is that this search is not like Google. It does not support + or things in "quotes". Maybe there needs to be a sticky (or if one exists it should be put at the top of the tC forum) giving people advice on how to search. For example I found it usefull to use the boolean AND when searching for things. For example if I was looking for posts that have the words "key" and "alarm" in them I would type: key AND alarm Just a thought...[/i]

RussianTC and komik thanks for the advice.

komik- I had no clue what to type in, but someone would probably never think to look for a topic called
"How Does The Key Look Like"
. I a person asked me that, I would tell them that they should improve their grammer

As I said, I searched for "key" in the tC forum section. Pretty simple and straight forward. If you wanted to know what the key looks like, why would you NOT look at that topic.

That sentence is so funny I don't even know where to begin.

Note: I may be coming off as an a-hole here, if so, I appologize.

After re-reading your post, I'm curious. Do you use the "Power Seach" (upper right) or "Search" (upper left). If you click on the upper left search:

It does suggest using "AND", "OR", and "NOT", in addition to many other options. It also works 10E1000 times better than power search.
