Last question for a while from me
ok i know i probably sound like a dumbfu*k to some of you "more experienced" members, and i am sorry for that. i have one last question for you guys and then i try and stop asking such stupid questions. hawkeye, i did try and search for other posts about this, but i had no luck. could some one give me a picture of what the regular tc car key looks like and what does the security option key look like
scion.com, go to tC, then the accesories tab, then interior and finally scion security. thats what the key looks like for ss
as for without, I think its still the same, but I dont know, I got the securuty system.

Work at a dealership selling these cars. The key that I got with my tC was the same as my customer's that got the alarm on theirs. The only difference is in the signal it gives off and what picks it up.

But this topic seems to come up every couple of weeks, so one of the threads should be findable. Glad you got your answer, though!

Out of 145 results, this was #23 on the first page:
"How Does The Key Look Like"
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...&highlight=key
One thing I realized just recently is that this search is not like Google. It does not support + or things in "quotes". Maybe there needs to be a sticky (or if one exists it should be put at the top of the tC forum) giving people advice on how to search. For example I found it usefull to use the boolean AND when searching for things. For example if I was looking for posts that have the words "key" and "alarm" in them I would type: key AND alarm Just a thought...[/i]
RussianTC and komik thanks for the advice.
komik- I had no clue what to type in, but someone would probably never think to look for a topic called
. I a person asked me that, I would tell them that they should improve their grammer

Note: I may be coming off as an a-hole here, if so, I appologize.

It does suggest using "AND", "OR", and "NOT", in addition to many other options. It also works 10E1000 times better than power search.
