My Mom Drove My Car...
#23
i can relate to your mom.
my tc was in the repair shop for about 1 1/2 month do to my accident. for those 6 weeks i was stuck driving my dads 1991 toyota pickup truck. ..so the day i went to pick up my tc from the bodyshop..i pulled out of the parking lot and accidently revved the car really high and the next thing i know i was going 65mph. The car felt soooo fast, even though it was just stock. So it all depends on what you had been used to driving prior to driving the tc.

Well the difference is that a Camry is a much smoother drive. There's a reason I hate driving them or an ES for that matter. You really have to rev the engine to get power. The tC drives more like a Honda does...much sportier. I felt like my old '92 accord had more power at the lower rpms than my parent's ES.
Your mom is probably used to a decent power how ever far she's used to pushing the accelerator. With the tC, that same point of power is much sooner.
