Default My tC wont start after my 40 day vacation?

Alright.. so I came back from my 40 something day vacation only to find my tC not starting at all. Checked all the common possible problems like the battery going dead (the battery indicator on it says it's ok), fuses, and so on but everything is alright. so what can be the problem?

Not only that, but nothing in the car would work.. as in the remote wont open/close the doors (even the button from inside the car wont do that) as if there's no power in the entire car... yet when I turn the key, only the BREAK, low-tire pressure, and ABS lights turn on and that's it. When I do turn the key, nothing happens, won't even try to crank

so what do I try next?

Thanks

i see cars like this at my work all the time. you turn the key and its like nothing works. what we do is jump the car then just drive for a while and usually the car is good to go. all it had was a parasitic drain(usually lights). i hope its not anything else. i have 78k on my car and its started every single time. just dont take any 40 day trips anymore. on the other hand my roomate went to korea for 3 months, came back, and his gti started right up.

I always put a Battery Tender on my autos when they're going to sit for a while. Not so much to keep the battery CHARGED, but to keep in electrically active. Leaving a car sit for that long is really hard on them...in ways you don't even realize!
