No, they have to prove that the aftermarket part caused the problem. Ex. they cant say lowering springs caused a motor problem.

the only time a warranty is voided is is that mod directly caused the item to fail... its an act that has been passed i think it starts with an M im sure someone will post the name of it really soon

there are times the dealer will somehow work a mod into being the cause of the problem, most wouldnt but there are still some that might. just be sure to keep the stock part to switch back just incase

WEll the first question is .......what is it you wnat to modify..........I can tell you that no matter what they tell you they will not warrenty a clutch, any brake parts, any suspension, and quite a bit of the electrical system........so what is it you want to mod.

Most bolt on mods are not gonna affect a warrenty......warrentys are for defective parts......and most of the time it is apparant what is a defect and what is abuse.

Now a pretty much have an idea of what is it I can do......wen I say performance mods I mean things such as exhaust brakes shocks air intake things like dat I don't want to have add an exhaust then wen I pull up into the dealer I get slaped with a huge bill for an oil change or a tune up
