This way, I wouldn't have to re-wire the factory bulbs, just the ones that I add - and that would be less difficult.

Yea.. that'd be it.. I'm sold on that..

now just let me get my tC!..

ahHAha.. is it weird that I don't have the car yet.. but still I have a list of mods ready to begin as soon as getting it?..

according to your signature, you still have to pick what color you want...

I know!.. crazy right!?..

at the moment FM is losing steam.. SW is on top.. and just because the simple fact that I hate when a clean car looks "so so".. and most IIP or NBM I've seen up close.. suffer from swirls on the paint.. and I've talked to them owners and detailers.. and all of them agree.. it's a _____ to have them all shiny and swirl free..

And them white ones.. even tho suffering from swirls too.. they are harder to see.. so that seems to be the way I'm going..

Unlessssssssss.. I can get a sweet deal on a used RS1.0 I came across a couple of days ago.. thing is.. on the Ad it said that it had 25k miles.. and it is only 15 months old!.. I wrote to the guy so lets see..

Also there is a sweet 2003 350Z TrackEdition.. 24k.. which would only cost me $2k more than a brand new tC.. and I'm test driving it tomorrow.. thing is.. Doctor said no more stickshifts for me (fu$^%d my right knee on a bike accident).. so I dunno.. so many options..

got my figure LLC grilles in the mail today. Ended up taking about an hour and a half to install. They're powdercoated gloss black. Looks a heck of a lot better than my DIY ones (mostly because you can't see the zipties and the edges are smooth). without further a-due

That looks very nice..

wondering how a set in flatblack would look on a SW tC..

and did you just get top and bottom.. or did you go for the sidevents too?

How much did he ask for it?..

It's a sweet machine.. I've driven a couple of em.. from stock to a GreddyTT that was putting close to 550whp.. and the car is a performance dream machine.. but down here they are a luxury.. as they start at close to $36k..

So if I could get one for a decent price.. I would be all over that.. that's how I did with the 300ZX I owned.. fell in love with the car when I was just a kid.. and back then they where even pricier than the 350Z's of today.. but when time came.. found one at a steal of a deal and bought it.. had it for a short time tho..

On that note.. I went to look at the Track Edition that I was telling you about.. the car is aproaching 25k miles.. and the guy is asking $25k.. which is the balance left on the car .. so he ain't profiting at all.. he showed me pictures and documents of all that has been done to the car.. it ain't much.. all he had was the Nismo wheels in 19".. (he used the TrackEdition wheels with some Nitto NT555R Drag Radial for the track (he even has all the stickers from the tires he bought.. and receipts).. and he is selling the car with the 'stock' ones.. with brand new tires (Kumho Ecsta Supra 712) as he already sold the Nismo rims.. it has tint all around and smoked overlays on the taillights.. full Borla catback.. and a K&N drop in filter.. that's it..

I fired it up.. and gave it a thorough visual inspection.. in and out.. and all seems ok.. didn't take it out cause it started pouring when we were about to take it out of his garage.. and the guy detailed just last week.. so I sympathized with him..

here's a pic..

And yea.. I know the perks of having a gearhead brother.. my big brother is a tuner by nature / army mechanic by profesion.. his first car was a 92' Sentra SE-R.. wich he turboed pretty nicely.. then he had an 96' Intregra GS-R wich he turboed and NO2 the **** out of.. ran constant low 13's no problems.. and he helped me a great deal tuning my 300ZX.. just wish he was closer.. he's now stationed at Oahu tinkering on Chinooks and Apaches..

^^^ Oahu is very nice! I would love to live there (of all places in Hawaii - closer to the O.C. lifestyle, while still being in Hawaii).

I think He got 24K for his car. No turbo, but I did put an Injen CAI Gen 2 (where the filter is right behind the front grill - sounded sooo nice!!), getting ready to put in an AVIC D2 with external DVD player, LED gauges (of course! ;P ), Stillen exhaust, Veilside widebody kit, and thats all I remember.

and moving right back to scions-

I ordered teh center pieces only, but I do have the vents done. Before the figure grilles, i had a DIY project that you may remember. When i did that, I also did the side vents. So now i have figure in the center and DIY in the vents.
