Need Help with Car Not Starting! (no, not the usual)
So, I took the amp out of my girl's car, the power wires made contact with each other and they sparked and I'm guessing caused a short. Now my car won't start. Everything turns on, lights, radio, everything, but the car wont crank.
Does anyone know what I messed up?? I really need your help, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

he could mean a maxi fuse(looks like the small fuses but bigger) the color is just a color code for the amperage rating. if i were u id check all the fuses and relays. after that you should bring it to a shop/dealership b/c it can be a computer problem at that point

check all fuses and relays.
under the hood and kick panel.
fuses can be checked just by looking at them.
relays need to be checked a diff way.
if you dont know how, just youtube it, theres plenty of videos that show you how.

Its more than likely your AM2 Fuse... you have two AM Fuses that run through the ignition, AM1, and AM2. the AM1 is mainly pre-ignition (Lights, Accessories, etc..) and the AM2 is responsible for anything after you turn your key to the start position. i went through this and had it jumped, and everything i couldnt figure out what the issue was so i had it towed to the dealer. the fuse is under the hood, it should be one of the big grey ones like a relay fuse.
