Premium or not? Better for my buddy-baby?

I have been fillin' my tC with premium (v-power)
but does it really help a lot puttin in premium? I'm running $30+ a week

nope. the manual recommends 87 octane. anything more is just a wast of money, you'll see no gains from a higher octane.

The manual actually reccomends a minimum of 87, not 87 specifically. I use midgrade... but I dont want to get into an argument about octanes. .. cause they just go and go :P

The ECU can adjust the timing accordingly. You won't see a difference using high perforamcne gas unless you are running FI.
End.
