its pretty crappy how insurance works. my family wants to take this kid to court over what happened. he rearended my car going about 45mph, never tried to stop. he hit me so hard that i hit the car infront of me, and they hit the one infront of them etc, until 5 cars were involved total. the kid whos 18, said his shirt blew up into his face and he couldnt see (aka he was on his phone/texting)...and how does your shirt blow into your face if you ave your seatbelt on??

my mazda pretty much crushed, windows blew out, my trunk is basically in my backseat, alignment of the WHOLE car is thrown off, rear axle snapped, but i made it out safe. i guess thats all that really matters in the end.

i just wish it hadnt happened, i have to lay out more money because this idiot cant drive.

oh, and im really not a fan of silver cars, i think theyre boring hah.
same thing happened to me -- my civic R.I.P. -- kid on his cell phone rearended doing 30-40. my car basically fell apart upon slamming into the tow hitch of the F150 in front of me. but that may have been a good thing since none of the 4 ppl inside were hurt.

if anyone in your car was hurt, i say sue the **** out of him. remember injuries as a result of the wreck may not appear right away, sometimes weeks or even months can go by before telltale signs develop. make sure to talk to the appropriate counsel and don't hesitate to ask questions-- this was not your fault! take pictures of everything if you haven't already.

but, hopefully no one was injured and you don't have to take legal action. and maybe you get a new tc! i agree about the silver i'd say go black if you plan on keeping the exterior stock-ish, white if you plan on doing some mods. but beware, it's pretty hard to stop once you get started, haha.

I was the only one in my car at the time thank god...but yeah the cars crush like they do for a reason. better the car than you. i was able to walk after i got out but i was taken to the hospital from the accident. its been 4 days now, my neck and my back are killing me, my ribs are really achey and sore when i breathe in, abs are killing me, it seems to get more painful everyday. i'm on three different paint killers and muscle relaxers right now, it SUCKS. I start going to a physical therapist on Tuesday.

We're definitely going to take the kid to court. I was sitting at a stop sign when he did it...I did nothing wrong at all. The kid just isnt responsible enough to be driving. Especially the HUGE dodge ram he has...what 18 year old needs that, we live in a Philly suburb.

I've been looking at a lot of photos, i think im going to go with the white. my mazda was mica black, i loved it but i think i may go white this time. the tC black isnt as nice as the mazda was. but the white is super pretty.

but yeah, this is how the back end of my car looked after he hit me, front isnt as bad but the car was a total loss...makes me so sad to see it, that car was my baby.

Go with a car and color that's not common in your area. I liked the Wranglers, but everyone in Colo. has one.

sorry to hear about the loss, but I do suggest getting a tC.

I bought another after I totled my other and I don't regret it. Made the right choice. It's the best car out there for the reliability, options, and community for the price you pay.

Well, I got BSP. A few weeks later, I deeply regreted it and wished I chose SW mainly for the fact that the dirty-ness of the car sticks out more on the BSP than it would on SW. IMO, SW, BSP, and FM are the best colors for the tC.

EDIT: Sorry about your current situation and condition. The kid needs to face come consequences. Good luck!
