I hope people now won;t see the tc as a slow car

I was at the Monterey Historics last year and Toyota had a tC prep'd for this event on display in their pavilion tent. I had just purchased my 07 tC and was just learning how well designed these cars are. They basically started with a stock tC and stripped it down and safety'd it for a road race. Minor engine modifications without changing the internals (pistons, crank, what have you).

those tC's are weak.. but i would love to see the race, and i support the cause of the race.

i dont really like all the colorful graphics, but hey what can you do, it sells.

i will pen this in on my calendar, hope to see alot of peeps there.. we should have our own litte tC meet outsdie, that way people can see the best tC's before seeing the race tC's :)

didnt jesse james mod his celica last yearfor this race i wonder if he is gonna do the same for this one?

Sadness, I miss seeing the Celicas in this race, now they're a bunch of tC's.... lol. Last year, a bunch of the celebrities ran into a wall, it was great.

i work right across the street from where the track runs down shoreline drive. i cant wait, i can hear the cars from my office, its pretty sick!!! i'll probably walk down and check out the practice runs on friday. they started setting up the cement barriers this past week down here.

Isn't this old news? I mean, they ran tC's for the celeb race before last year's LBGP too. :eyebrow:

the cars were well built... alot of time and effort were put in that car.. and imagine.. Toyota had to make a lot of them...

all i know is Kelly Hu is in the line of celebs to race this year.. :love:
