20 years old, clean record, car is in my name, credit is good.
$253 a month
$145 through Erie
I really dont have any problems. People still think my car is in my mom's name but my registration card proves otherwise!

I am 17 and my insurance went up 75$, so now my insurance is $175/month. My parents are on the insurance policy with two other cars....What we did was we put my dad as the main driver of the tC, my mom on the utility van, and me on the ford expedition. So it saved us money because if I am the main driver on an SUV it lowers the insurance for the SUV, plus the scion's insurance really didnt go up much because my dad is 42 and he is the main driver on that car. Thats how we did our insurance.... :D

2005 tC + 2002 X5 4.4, I'm 19, pay 4300 a year (paid in full) for max coverage through Progressive Direct in NH. No tickets. Own the X5, will own the tC in December, no other drivers on the policy or in the house.
In 2002 I was hit by a tow truck that backed up into me and pushed me about 15 feet sideways. The street was full of cars waiting in traffic... wrong place, wrong time. That brought up my insurance by 600 a year. The cops ruled it no fault because it was snowing.
Could be worse, Geico wanted 4700ish a year.
