Took my exhaust manifold next door to the sandblasting place and the retards hit the gasket surfaces with the sandblaster, are my mating surfaces ____ed or is this something a machine shop can fix?

If you tighten it down with a fresh gasket, the leak will probably be minimal since it seems to be pitted only, and no actual deviation in surface level. If its really bad, a machine shop can take off a few thousandths with a lathe and get you back to normal.
