Soon to be tC owner w/ Questions
Dear all,
Was looking into buying a tC first generation, and was wondering how easy is it to mod these things, was looking into buying a turbo kit, and really making it my project car, I have a currently daily driver which I plan on keeping and making the tC the project. I was doing a lot of reading online and a lot of people slap on a turbo kit and ecu and injectors and start going at it. Just curious on how well the aftermarket is for these cars. Looking for a cheap budget project car thats fun to drive.

Just make sure you get one that has had the oil consumption problem fixed.
a lot of Scion tCs have a problem with burning oil, that has been recognized and a recall program has been set up by Toyota and Scion.
