Sponsorship question
Ok, I have been offered a sponsorship package with a company called Team SCP. Does anyone know about this organization? They offered me what they called a 15,000 dollar CO-OP sponsorship, and they want 96.00 membership fee for me to do this... the guy said to me that for example if a body kit cost 1000 retail they can get it to me for 500 or something along those lines. Is this a scam or do i go for it? also you sign a legally binding contract stating that u will go to at least 4 car show events per year within 100 miles from home, and if you cancel your membership u have to pay 190.00 Termination fee. And also you must place 2 7" vinyl logos on the exterior of the car. IS THIS WORTH IT? ANYONE DONE THIS BEFORE? HELP!!!!!!!

up to you, but they almost own ur vehicle
you could find partial sponsorships which give you the discounts (like i have) and dont require anything of you, but to bring in business

It's basically a buy-in. I personally don't think it's worth it. I think they scam you into buying parts from companies they have relationships with and not neccessarily the best parts available. You get a % over cost instead of full retail, but are still obligated to abide by their rules. Why go through a middle man? Go directly to the manufacturer like I have. Then again just my opinion.
i saw their web site advertised on the home page of this forum at the bottom. i filled an app out but didnt complete it cuz they asked for the credit n' crap. then 2-4 days later, they called me and asked if i wanted to join their 'club' ... its not worth it unless you wanna be there b*tch...
