I want to buy camber bolts to get -2 camber each corner, but the thing that confuses me is jeremydoc and other people have only one pair to acheive -2 camber a corner. Meng motorsports' description says i need 2 camber bolt per side to get -2.

From mengmotorsport:
  • Up to ±2° camber adjustability with pair of bolts. (PN 81290)
  • Up to ±1° camber adjustability with single bolt. (PN 35450)
Note: Each order is for an individual wheel. Order two sets for a complete front camber adjustment.

Can somone help me clear up the confusion? Thanks.

Hayseed 05-26-2011 08:34 PM

Per my alignment spec sheet I got the fronts to 2* with one pair of bolts, I.E. one on each side. I'm back at 1.5* but yeah.

jeremydoc 05-26-2011 08:35 PM

i have a pair of the ingal camber bolts from ebay. one on each side for the fronts. those gave me -2 maxxed out. with the rears, the stock camber arm will give you about -3 maxxed out, but with natural camber, should give you about -4.

Hayseed 05-26-2011 08:38 PM

My rears are at 5* (because I needed more space cause I had tire issues/had a bigger tire etc.)

stinkysab 05-26-2011 09:07 PM

^^Thanks guys. I dont think all of your 2 degree camber was only from the pair of camber bolt. I think lowering the car will give some negative camber as well.

stinkysab 05-27-2011 12:25 AM

Ill just buy one pair and see where it puts me at. If i need more camber, then ill buy a second pair. Did you guys buy ingalls because of durability or easiest to install? There are other camber bolts on ebay at a better price. Let me know guys, thanks in advance. :)

dropzone 05-27-2011 01:04 AM

^I bought two from NAPA but have yet to put them on, it'll be a moment before it happens though.

Hayseed 05-27-2011 04:38 AM

I understand that lowering gives more camber, but I would rather give you the real specs versus what the data is on an unlowered car. Good luck man! I take the fronts are rubbing like crazy?

stinkysab 05-27-2011 05:01 AM

^^Rubbing on turns quite a bit. Do you have ingalls as well? There are some that are 12bucks on ebay and give almost the same amount of adjustability. Not sure if i should go with them.

Hayseed 05-27-2011 05:05 AM

I think that you wouldnt run into too much of an issue with an ebay piece, unless its like made of plastic you should be fine I'd suppose.

stinkysab 05-27-2011 05:25 PM

Thanks for helping a noob like me out.

Hayseed 05-27-2011 05:33 PM

Are you going to trade for the meisters??
Happy barfday as well!

stinkysab 05-27-2011 07:17 PM
