swooshing noise?
 

so tonite when i pulled my car in to my garage as i went over the bump i heard a swooshing noise and when i stopped the car i heard the swooshing noise again for 2 sec.
it sounds liek water swooshing around somewhere in the rear. could it be water in my exhaust or just my gas swooshing aroudn in my gas tank?(i've only had this car for a month so i wouldn't know if it was normal or not)

any help is appreciated =)

ive had this happen a few times, i think its the gas tank

yes get a nice full gas tank and you'll hear the *slosh* *slosh* in the rear, around the backseat area. It's the gas tank, I hear it too from time to time with a full tank.

ok thanks very much! this was the first tiem i've ever filled it up all the way within the last month since gas prices have been ridiculous

hmmph.. you have no room to complain... you don't live in the bay area (Cali) where you'll be lucky to find good gas under $3.30 right now.. for regular.

our prices are even higher than the isolated island that is Hawaii.
