Umm how can you take orders if we don't know the price yet? Or do you know something we don't know? What's the price?

Price has not been released at this time but from the webcast, they stated that it will be below $20000 and there will be a supercharger available later during the year. We have been getting many calls and emails right after the press conference in regards to placing orders.

My store isn't doing pre-orders...my GSM was working for Honda when they released the Odysey, and said that it turned into a huge fiasco. Therefore, it's our store policy not to take deposits or do waiting lists...not even with Prius.

What we are doing instead is keeping record of anyone who's interested, and then when we know when our tC's are coming in and can be contracted, we'll call everyone on file and have first come first serve. It'll give you a little head start over the average Joe.

Since the press conference this morning, I've gotten a ton of emails and calls already! It's going to be an awesome ride! I'm thinking about trading in my xB already...won't do it though. I love the box too much. So much standard equipment though! I can't wait to drive one! :D

Default Tc

I can't wait either Drew, I am a little confused about something maybe you and V can clear something up for me..... At Sema the TRD guys were saying supercharger, supercharger, supercharger, well we just had the D.C car show here and of course Scion was there ( V your girl Beth was there, gosh she's nice) well the guy I talked to his name was Chris said that down the line Scion would offer Turbos from the factory for all models... ??? So what is it that we are getting a S/C or a Turbo or a option of either? I know you Cali guys are closer to the top out there can you find some insight on this? Thanks guys

Hey Jay...

The xA and xB are getting Turbos from TRD. They had one at SEMA, and they have them in Japan.

The tC is going to be getting a TRD Supercharger. It's estimated to boost the HP from the stock 160 to something over 200!!!!!

It's going to be awesome!!

Default S/C - turbos

Yeah I've seen the TRD turbos, I thought the Tc was gonna have the S/C as a factory option, but at the Show ( Dc car show ) chris was making it sound like it would have a turbo option from the factory.... I would rather go S/C just cause I don't have any experience with turbos.... at this point it doesn't matter I will have one, but I would rather have the S/C.... I guess we will see in June

Did you watch the webcast this morning? Jim Farley said up there on stage that it's going to be a TRD S/C. Also, I heard that from corporate a few months ago. That same day corporate told me the xA/xB were getting Turbos, and then we saw them at SEMA right after.

It's defiately going to be a TRD S/C for the tC, and unless they change them, look for Turbos on the A/B. That's a lot of /'s

Let me ask you guys something. And this is coming from a guy who doesn't work on engines and is used to low maintenece Toyotas. Are super charges or Turbos a pain in the butt? I mean, do they require any periodic maintenece or anything, or will I just need to do the same stuff that I've alway done, and "I won't know it's even there"? :D

Nah drew couldn't get the web broadcast at the dealership today I'm home now so I'm gonna watch the recast, I knew they had turbo's in the work for the X's, I guess that chris did't know about the S/C for the Tc, I was pretty sure about the S/C cause that's what TRD told us at Sema, Thanks Drew now I feel better.

Heya Pablo...anything dealer installed and dealer warrantied shouldn't be "a pain in the butt." With Turbos, if you have them tuned wrong, or if you're adding rediculous boost, you need to constantly monitor it. That's high end performance stuff though. I had a factory turbo on my VW Passat, and I never even worried about it. The only thing I did was get my oil changed at shorter intervals...turbos do need to be coddled a bit more. If you go with the factory tuning though, you shouldn't have to worry about throwing rods or having any kind of trouble. Just get it serviced regularly, and get your oil changed every 3,000.

If any of you guys are considering getting a TC, i would highly advise working with Verone and the Longo team. Great customer service and always dependable.

Besides, the deposit is always refundable. So if your not happy, you can always go elsewhere. But that wont happen ;)

Thanks for the plug. Yes, Bethany is an amazing woman. Very attractive. What the heck was she doing on the east coast? She should be back home soon. In the webcast there was mention of the factory making a supercharger available. Im excited. I hope that we can get some big brake kits from Brake Zone or at least some slotted rotors to make it look better.

mmm, I think they could have scrapped that to save us some money But I guess it's cool.

So let me get this right... I can buy the car and then input the way that "I" like it. Then my mom can get in and adjust the seat so she can drive it and then I can just get back in and hit a buttom or something and it'll go back to what I told it to remember?

Yeah much agreed. Richard, Kim, and even Verone at times are definitely cool and they will take care of you. Longo usually will have what you are looking for since they have they get the largest supply.
