Tc RS5.0 Alarm system.
So I'm my rs5 I paid for the upgraded security like I did so in my 07 stock tc. Well my 07 stock tc would beep twice when locked and been once when unlocked. I just had the dealer install the scion security on my rs5 and it doesnt beep at all when lock or unlocking. Also I tried taping on the glass with my fingers and it still wouldn't trigger the alarm.. Is something differnt in the security systems now? They did have the red light with mic installed and that goes red when I lock it. Maybe I'm being paranoid? Should I go to the dealer and make then look at it?

Sounds like your first security system was not actually the "Scion Security" but some dealer installed option - Scion Security does not beep. Ever (unless they changed to something totally different after 06-07-ish). You should get two light flashes on unlock (4 flashes if you push twice) and then one flash on lock).
And you can't just tap the glass with a finger. The dealer install test actually says to use a key - on the sunroof to test. Of course you want to be kind of careful with this and not slam your key on to the sunroof - but ya. I've had an acorn or something similar fall from a tree and set mine off before.
There is an adjustment to it, I believe. You can take a look at this and see what you can find:

If you think there may be an issue - let the dealer fix it though. A simple adjustment **** or something is one thing - but trying to rewire something should be them, not you.

I have the factory upgraded alarm and it's alright. I added a Viper Alarm system and now I have the best of both worlds lol. In my inteior it flashes like a police car to the left of the steering wheel. Red light is factory and blue light is Viper.

Let us know if they got it to beep. I got the security system as well and mine doesn't beep... As for triggering the alarm, you can adjust the sensitivity of the alarm. If you look under your glove box next to your ECU you will see a black box, that's where you would be able to adjust it...
