as a person who used to have two 15's, i think the stock system is great for it being stock, but it could get louder, i cruise around at 63 all day every day. and after owning my car for a little over a year, i think the speakers finally bit he dust a week ago, i came on here hoping to find a part number so i can order replacements, can anyone point me in a good direction before i take everything apart?

trunk + 6x9s = good bass response. the whole trunk acts like a big sealed enclosure vs the small ___ space where the tc's speakers are mounted.

Crutchfield gives you speaker adapters for free.
Let's say the stock size is 6in and you buy one that's 5.25" or 6.5" they have speaker adapters to help make them fit, they're free.

Crutchfield rox!

Crutchfield FTW!

Technically speaking, there are no perfectly sized replacement speakers. But the common sizes are available with adapters. My 6.5" Blaupunkts fit with Crutchfield adapters, and work well with a little fiddling.
