Default UPS Charge Extra to Ship Exhaust

Does anyone know if it costs extra to ship a axleback exhaust via b/c of its size?
Thanks

Hmm when I got a shipping quote online from UPS they didn't ask me for anything about the package except for its weight.
Where did you find a box big enough to fit the exhaust?

I shipped my tanabe exhaust in the original box (51x21x10) and they charged me like $65 for gound. They charged me for 70lbs instead of 20lbs b/c of the size. So oversized package will charge you pretty much money

Shipping cost me $165 from NY to CALI

They told me, that because of the dimesions, wieght does not matter. So the box in total inches cannot exceed 144. Once you pass that size, they treat it the same way, whether its full of bricks or full of air, its the same price. It was a TRD exhaust.

Hey Riboflavin! Did you ever get the exhaust?

Oh yeah lilitaliankid. Thx for very secure packaging. It took 20min to open it up lol. The exhaust had a dent on the bottom but I can deal with it, and it sounds good!
