Used 2AZ-FE?
 

I just want to know how much do most 2AZ-FEs cost used at the junk yard? I was trying to call a local junkyard and they said that those are special orders and differ in price depending on miles. ( I ask them if they have one without the pistons and they laughed at me)

So, let me ask the hardcore engine peeps here how much can a used busted up 2AZ-FE core cost? and also will those fit the 07s ECM harnesses?

They don't know why I want an engine with just the core...

And they dont care. The amount of time it would take them to tear apart an engine just to give you one without the pistons would make the sale pointless.

So getting a spare engine for your boosted tc? making sure you're ready n case your motor blows? :P

i'd say a good $1K will get you an engine

I've seen 2AZ-FE on Craiglist (Miami) go for $850-900. So I'd say no more than $1K.

I have one, but im located in georgia. Its got 1000 miles on it and it should come with a trans. Its out of an 07. Pm me if you want more info or are interested.

Forgot the website but it has a compilation of junk yards inventory and they ranged from like $800 to $4500 Depending on the year and miles. Google it

Curios as to why you want one. Or is this just another one of your random questions you ask?

I don't want to "molest" my 1550 mile (current mileage) brand new tC engine and install new internals when I shoot up to 450WHP.

So, I was thinking of getting a block (preferably 20-40K miles with no internals) and I'll use that and change the rods, pistons, sleeves, valves, maybe springs too if it's that bad, port&polish, and a nice engine oil flush. atleast I'll give that engine new life and I keep my cared for engine safe and could be used again with only a few "not even broken in" miles on it! :)

Oh, Thanks for the tip on where to find it! Looks like I won't have a real hard time looking for one with low miles...

1Grand for a 1Kmile MT 07 tC engine from Phoenix AZ! (that's new and ready to broken in with turbo internals in!)

thats alot of extra money for something really not that useful.

How come the 2AZ is cheaper than 1ZZ and 2ZZ engines???

2AZ = camry, tc
2zz = elise, corolla, matrix xrs
1zz = MR2

You forgot Celica GT-S, Corolla XRS, Lotus Exige on 2ZZ-GE and you forgot to mention Corolla, Matrix, Vibe on 1ZZ-FE, also there's RAV4. Solara and xB2 on the 2AZ-FE...

I say that a new engine with new turbo internals is a must for me when I step up to 300+ WHP when I turbo.
