What is rice qualifications / Rice citation

I'm sure many people here have already seen plenty of Rice Citations but the ones I see always have something wrong with them. I think we should try and narrow down what the base requirements are for being "rice". Here's a list I've compiled so far (based on one citation i think is pretty good).

I think Truck Nutz are cool but omg... Stacks on a Non-Diesel? More than 2 stacks ON a Diesel? WOW.. Someone needs to get a kick in the nutz or get them off the truck!

Keeshwah 11-21-2007 03:42 PM

Pretty sure that's just a backronym

And that you mean "Enhancement" rather than "Upgrade" ;)

"rice" is too subjective

kiss_kiss_kill 11-21-2007 04:38 PM

You forgot "unpainted body kit", haha.

WHY INSTALL IT IF IT'S FRIGGIN NEON GREEN OR PRIMERED. WHEN YOU DO GET IT PAINTED IT'S GOTTA COME OFF ANYWAY! :tap:

absolutely, and the "definition" is constantly altered. For example, in the 1990's and prior to F&F, a lot of the cars you see in shows now would have been considered rice.

Danger_Darren 11-21-2007 06:28 PM

you forgot the HUGE tachometer with a shift light on an automatic, and the other random guages on their stock engine.

sorry. this kid in my autoshop class meets pretty much all this stuff:

1991 Auto Accord, huge tach, enourmous body kit. a 6 foot outrageous paint job(only looks good 6 feet away.), super loud exhaust. 20 inch rims, rivit on side cowls. the works. oh man.

Madode 11-21-2007 06:34 PM

Holy crap. You just defined almost any vehicle currently in running condition on the road today. Not including the persons currently testing for his or her drivers license with a State Approved Instructor currently seated next to them.
