Who do I go to to get these fixed? Mechanics? Toyota? (I don't know much about cars.)
There are some electrical issues on my 2006 TC: The sunroof doesn't close and the subwoofer doesn't work.
The sunroof:
I can get it to open, but when I try to close it, it moves like an inch, then stops It doesn't feel like there's something blocking it, because after many attempts, I can eventually get it to close. But it's bad enough that I worry that one day I won't be able to get it closed again. It feels like there's not enough power. I stopped using my sunroof.
The subwoofer:
It's the kind that was built into the car. So one day I turned a corner and the subwoofer went out. The regular speakers still work, just the subwoofer doesn't. But it occasionally comes back on, so it makes me feel it is loose wires or something.
I'm thinking Toyota would be the best place to take the car to, but of course they're also more expensive. Where else can I take it to? Like what terms do I use for Googling? Mechanics? Or are mechanics just engine related? Who do I go to for electrical issues? Or is Toyota the best option?
Also, does these sound like expensive repairs?
