Default Brake System & ABS Module Flush

My car just his 100K and almost 5 years so I want to flush my brake fluid. I am concerned that the ABS system will not be fully flushed if I bleed it at the calipers. What method does Toyota use the COMPLETELY flush the brake fluid? They have an $89 special at my local Toyota house that might be worth it if they really do the full system.

on our car Toyota didn't have the ABS module interfere at all with brake bleeding. Normal brake bleeding is all that's needed, the bigger question is the dealer using a pressurized bleeder or the normal two person pump-the-brakes method? When it was colder outside I found the pressure bleeder got rid of the air bubbles compared to just pumping the brake pedal. then again I should've waited til it was warmer, since usually the brake pedal method works fine.

Ok I'm off subject, to answer your question, there is no special ABS module bleeding required on the tC, Toyota made this car more simple than others.

Alright cool. That leads me to a more in depth question. Does the module hold fluid? I see all the brake lines running to it. Does the fluid flow freely through the module when ABS is not activated?

If that's the case I can rent a vac pump and do it myself

yes the module does hold brake fluid, it's part of the braking system. and yes the brake fluid flow freely through the module, so normal brake bleeding is all that's needed. just have to choose the method, pressure bleeding or manual/pumping the brake pedal bleeding. that's it. Toyota definitely made this system simple.

Many thanks. Since you are a scion mech. Would you wanna do a Q & A session for some paypal money? I have some questions about wheel bearings and rotor selection
