Default function & form vs h&r

I'm looking to have a tuck look and also keep my ride as comfortable as possible on coilovers since my tc is a DD which i drive about 40 miles a day on freeway. Can you guys give me the pros and cons of each coilovers and a final decision on which you would pick?

I have the H&R's on my car right now and I've had them for a year and I love them. You'll get a bit of a tuck if you max them out but not much. I plan on getting the Function and Form V1's and I think it's a similar drop. Apparantly the F&F's have a maximum of a 3inch drop and I plan on maxing them out haha

^the F&Fs go lower then H&Rs, but by a hair! although you have to mod them, (remove 2 rings and compress the spring)

also the F&Fs have independent height/shock travel adjustments, basically, my V1's are slammed yet i still have full shock travel, the H&Rs you would loose almost all of your shock travel increasing the chances of bottoming out or possibly lowering shock life!

but as you can tell im biased to the F&Fs, DQLOSTSOULS should give you the best advice as hes acctually had both!

btw: if you can still get the F&Fs V1s from assaultech for the GB price like i did, go for them, the price is soooo cheap its unbelievable!

I had H&R's and they are really nice I liked them. The rears go lower than the fronts. Although I removed a perch ring from the fronts to get a slight tuck...

And I am now on F&F's which ride about the same except for more cluncking when I turn the wheel. However I modified the fronts and removed 2 rings and compressed the springs.

Overall I would say I liked the H&R's better....just wish they went moar low. Both sets did not go low enough for my liking!

i made a mistake by saying tuck i meant flush...both would be able to do that since they are capable of tuck correct?

Flushness depends on your wheels

^yeah, flushness is all about wheel offset, coils basically allow you to slamm your car, also another plus for the F&F is they have top camber plates up front which will help with adding negative camber for wide wheels with low offsets

fatboitan, what's your definition of flush. It seems you don't know what it means.

the look im going is for the top tire to be at where my fender start. I don't it to be underneath the fender. So whatever term that is that's what i'm looking for as a stance.

flushness i from the wheels, yes you have to have coilovers that will go low enough but if you have weak fitting wheels like stock it will be sunk in behind the fender.

maybe someone else can explain it better.

Flush is having the face of the wheel lining up with the fenders. What you are looking for is zero finger gap.

for a zero finger gap, H&R and F&F will both do the job. the F&F are better though cuz you can adjust damper (stiffness) while in the H&R you cant. and also like someone said before, F&F have independent shock travel.
