Default Eibach Ground Control

Anyone rocking these? Wanted to see pics and hear ANY kind of reviews. Are they a good setup, or just an excuse for people to go cheap? My big question is, how low will they go?

i hope you know these are sleeve coilovers.

if you want a good set of coilovers go with tein, or whatever you prefer.

you can pair these with good shocks. but why waste all that money when you can get the real deal.

buy them, slam your car, blow your stock struts.

You prob didn't have a single complaint with those, did you? I keep coming back to those and the Stance coils. Maybe I should take that as a hint....

take the buddy club n+ spec damper coilover into consideration if you dont really have sufficient funds for stance, and b&g, heres how my car sits:

i still have about 3" left to go in the back and 2.5" + in the front WITH ALL COLLARS. If you remove a few of them im sure it can be close to 4 more inches in the front.

I wanna get a set of these along with custom valved Koni Yellows to match, for performance though. Reason being, you can get custom spring rates with them and along with properly valved shocks, it will perform better than most off-the-shelf coilovers (along with a proper corner-balance). A lot of autocrossers and track guys run this setup on various types of cars.

Going for looks and going super low, probably not the best setup. I've seen pics on SL of GCs as low as they can go, and the back was not even tucking. For slammage, go elsewhere.

If you want low, that's not the way to go. B&G RS2(long ___ wait time), Stance GR+, Buddy Club N+ Spec def do the job.

I Had some on my tc before i put on H&R coilovers, I cant really complain yes I had them on stock struts, and they were blown in the end, I was gonna get some koni's to go with them but found the H&R's on clubsciontc used for 700. I never really understood why some people say the ground control are not legitimate coilovers, you can find sleeve kits for all sorts of racing shocks/ struts and I dont mean ebay kits, Im talking about companies like koni, penske, bilstien, etc. Heck even the HKS hypermax for the tc have a threaded sleeve that slips over the shock body on the rears. As long as they are matched with the proper shocks/ struts they will be great.

Good thing even REAL coilovers aren't designed to slam you car. Slamming is OVERRATED.

When you order, you specify the spring rates (or they will recommend), and the dampers you will be using.
I've used Ground Controls/Konis for two seasons of racing now.
They will go stupidly low, but like I said, I'm racing, more concerned with function, and I can adjust ride height & weight distribution.
I like them, and their customer service.
However, If I did it again, I may have gone with KW.
